Been out for the afternoon & when we got back I found one of the eye spot rasboras had jumped into the hatchery with the molly fry in the main tank, have released it back into the tank but noticed a small patch of gel like substance in the corner with white speckles in it..... could the rasbora have laid eggs???

TIA!

No, sounds more like snail eggs. Rasbora eggs are scattered, singly. Even if they were rasbora eggs, they wouldn't be fertile, unless a male happened to jump in there as well!

Aaahhhhh, will dispose of them then ASAP - don't want more snails - need to get some assasin snails in there anyway.

Thanks loads

Kirsty
