I Need Some Pest Snails - Assasin Food

Hi All,
 
Ive got 3 assassin snails in my tank. for one week now i haven't seen any pest snails.
 
im assuming they have all be eaten.
 
can i get some from anywhere or buy some??
 
Just love the assassin snails and dont want them to die off as they do when they have no food left.
 
Im in the uk.

Drop an algae wafer in there and you'll soon seem them munching on it!!

I bought about 10 assassins at one point... I am sure I have about 100. I never feed them on purpose... I just feed my fish and they are thriving on whatever they find, flake food, algae wafers, (long since had a pest snail!). In my other tank they swarmed a dead shrimp and ate in way faster than I'd have imagined!

I bought 10 about 2 weeks ago as I had numerous MTS in the tank, now I hardly see any! Can't believe how quickly they got to work!

would it be safe to say that if i put a couple extra flakes in the tank , the assassins would get a fair meal??

You don't need to feed any extra to the assassins. They'll do fine foraging for whatever hits the bottom.

Ditto what the others are saying, nothing extra is needed, they find what they need.  Mine seem to love cucumber and zucchini/courgette as well as the odd prawn or muscle I put in for the fish.

hehe, i do have some courgette at home. last time i tried it though the fish didnt seem to interested

Try dropping it in boiling water for 5-10 mins prior to feeding.

Or try cucumber. My fish go crazy over it.
