I Need Some Input...

i just got my first cichlids today...a bolivian and a blue ram. ive been thinking for a while about what i want to stock in my 3ft when i upgrade to a 4ft community. im thinking cichlids now. will peacocks be ok with the rams? there is a beautiful tangerine at work that i would like. if not what other cichlids would be good for a 3ft with the above mentioned cichlids i have so far that may also get along with tetras remembering that it will be a 4ft in about 8 weeks so the current tankmates will be gone then. i would like to keep some schools of tetras with the cichlids even when i have then im their own tank just to fill up the lower/middle areas

Im afraid its a no to african cichlids being mixed with the rams the ph is completley different and also the rams would be killed !
