I have a 150 L tank which has 12 inmates, 1 catfish, 1 weird looking eel like fish, and 10 African Cichlids

Q1.) My " Electric Yellow Labidichromis" for some reason doesn't eat very much compared to the others, and it is always hiding behind the rocks, as if something or someone is trying to kill it, if i find out who it is i'll get my shotgun and shoot the tank, i need to know how i can make it more 'alive' like the others

Q2.) Recently one of my Cichlids died because it kept spinning over it's belly in a clockwise direction and died, i'm scared it is some disease in the tank and i would like to know what exactly it really is

Cheers, btw my nitrate is fine, my ph is slighly lower than 7.4-5 (is that bad), and my temp is 24-26, thanks

You may want to post this in the African Cichlids forum, this is the one for the New Worlds :p

Is the yellow lab being terrorized by the others? Are there enough caves for each of them to have their own territories? There is usually a pack hierarchy with african cichlids, maybe this one is at the bottom of the ladder and gets it from all of them. Poor little guy :(

Hmm i think thats it, it's at the bottom of the ladder :(

Everyone bosses it around, even the catfish, it full on chases it, and the other fish don't even go near it, as if it has leprosy... :(

You can try rearranging the tank a bit and let them scuffle as they establish newer territories. Maybe he won't be as badly off as he is now. If his fins are very ragged and torn from constant harassment, i would seperate him and treat with melafix.
