Well BadBadger - a fellow Hull forum member pointed me in the direction of a new shop - and while not amazing still very good for a new start up shop.

But the point is they had THE most amazing male gold sev I have ever ever seen!!! I cant stop thinking about him He was so so so stunning and about 4 inches the worst part is someone is coming to buy my L135s today and that means I have room but my tank is not big enough for efasticious - if my plan had come together and my flat wasnt sitting on an inch of water I could have got him but

Just needed to vent my dismay....

Ha ha, I'm sure theres a lot of people who have come away from a fish shop feeling exactly like you, I know I have.

With me it was some juvi P. motoro, the plan being I would grow them on for them. Its always a drag walking away from the tank, sort of like magnetism.

If you like the fish that much, would it be possible to 'reserve' the fish (most decent LFS I go to often have 'reserved for such-and-such' written on the tank) until your plan comes together?

I considered it but its going to be quite a few weeks - but he is kind of out the way and Ive just been told they have been there for quite some time so I might just risk it and hope he is there when I am sorted But yeah I have had this feeling many a time! This is why I NEED a fish house

lol i used to be like that pretty much every time i went into my lfs, most recently with some lda33 snowball plecs .

i think u need to start looking into rarer fish that way youll be unlikely to come across any in an lfs and not have this problem

If your in Hull still head towards a town called Dunswell quite a few are around there If you were at the deep today you were like 5 mins away from my flat haha! I live right on the water front Frisbies is quite near the city centerish but the rest are all quite far out

they are nice flats on there, we walked down there as we were half an hour early. You must be worth a bob or 2 wills, i bet yours was the one with the England flags still outside! I did ask for a bacon bap in the resauraunt and she didn't have a clue what i was on about about, until she said Bread cake!! what the ... is a bread cake!

My building is like if you keep walking and end up on like a corner of an old dock entrance on the river Im skint as ewt haha I only just left uni Hull is just cheap if you know your way around.

Guys stop tempting me haha - I really want to do it but I worry 3 sevs at between 4-6 inches is just pushing it even for a few months.... I am even more tempted now haha

Seriously ... do it !

Sevs that size don't grow very quickly, and if you have definate plans to upgrade in the near future then what can go wrong ? Remind me, what size tank are we talking about ?
