Okay, I just noticed this morning that my male betta is sick. He's all white and I think he's considered a crown-tail. I've had him for seven months and got him as a valentines day gift. He's always been aggressive and social and always lets me pet him. All of the other fish that my fiance has can never scare him and he's so confident. This morning, I noticed that he was very pale and he was scared when I tried to get him to flare. He has NEVER been afraid of me going near the tank. There are red spots on the left side of his body and all of his dorsal fins have red dots that resemble blood!!! I don't know what to do! I'm scared that he'll die!!! His fins are also clamped together, he won't flair, he's afraid and darts around when I try to touch him. He's just changed over the night. Last night he was bright, aggressive and his fins were open and flowing. Today, he's scared, pale, sad and has red spots all over his left side; including bloody spots at the tip of his fins. Is it fin rot?
HELP!!!
I'll try to get a photo of him but I don't want to stress him out more.
