so one of my newts ran off a week or two ago and we cleaned the whole room and left water out for him and we couldn't find him. so i am left with one newt in my 10g. i want another newt, can i get another one? (the one i have now was always nice to the smaller one that escaped. and i hand feed so there would be no food hogging) i also want to see some of your newt tank setups! i have decided to get better things like faux plants and more land and rocks. now my other question for the newt owners... do you do a land tank with a pool, a half and half tank, or a water tank with land? if i had an extra 10g strictly for semi terrestrial pets then i would do a half and half with a sealed in divider. but i want to know if 75% land 25% water or 75% water 25% land is better (i know that the tank should be 1/3 land). and what is would land made out of? can you get any reptile bedding? i am planning putting the plants below in my container of gravel (the land) for some shade and climbing.
