I Lost 3 Pygmy Cories This Week

okay so this week, I started it out with losing one of my 6 cories. the next morning, I lose another cory. so then I decided to test the water and it was fine. and then this morning I lose yet another cory so now I'm down to 3 pygmies and 3 Kuhlis. I don't want anybody to feel sorry for me, I just want to know what the heck is going on? could the kuhlis be a prime suspect?

there has been alot of people that have bought pygmy corys recently and have them die for no obvious reason....

how long have you had the fish?

how long has the tank been cycled?

what are the actual water stats?

i doubt very much the loaches will have harmed them so i wouldnt point my finger at them yet.....!

When you say your water is 'fine' what test did you actually do and what were the levels?

PCDS... pygmy cory death syndrome. Me and lilcamy have both had issues with it. Hope someone an shed some light because I have tried EVERYTHING.

it was just a test where my brother gave me a capsule of my water and he told me to look at it for 10 minutes and if it turns pink or purple its bad. and it just stayed blue.

sounds like an API nitrite test...

you need to test for ammonia, nitrite, pH, nitrates. if your ammonia is 0, your nitrite is 0, pH is not fluctuating or way out of the fishes tolerance and your nitrates are relatively low then your water is ok.
not just from a test your brother gave you that your not sure what it even is....!
