Fish Crazy
4) I got frustrated when someone said, "Re-read my post" and they obviously hadn't read mine to start with.
I get frustrated when someone tries to put words in my mouth. I never said anything about the curing part, am I not allowed to correct you? My post was written in the assumption that it might be fungus as other members have already stated.
I merely pointed out how fungus infects fish in order for you to pinpoint or to look out for signs on what may be causing the mysterious dot in the first place. In cases like this (ie. mysterious dots/diseases) where noone can give you an "expert opinion" or a definitive answer, ideas are thrown in so other members could "brainstorm", eliminate possible culprits and bring up new ones that we haven't thought of before.
I thought I was being helpful but apparently you think otherwise. I apologize if I have wasted your time with my post.
I think I can sum up the whole thing like this:
It seemed obvious to me (was I wrong?) that a fungus could not go away on its own...that it would have to be treated with medication or else the fish would have died from it. So, when every reply was focusing on fungi, I got increasingly frustrated. Nowhere in your email did it say you were just brainstorming, so it sounded as if you not only agreed with the fungus idea, but that you felt you should explain that I got it because my "water's dirty." I can see the problem...we are all too lazy to type all the necessary words to make what we are saying clear (at least to the best of our abilites) and are relying on the other to just know what we mean. Like I said before, I have definitely learned a lesson going through this.
