I was trying too Google any possible combination of words that would find me a brackish zebra blenny (i forget the fish name. it starts with an o) for sale in the United States. I came across a post from this forum but to my dissmay it was 2005 and 2007! I really would like a brackish sandsifter...i have a dragongoby but it doesnt do much sand moving. Anyone EVER see one for sale or know how to track one down?

It's Omobrachus zebra, a brackish/marine species. Details are on my FAQ, but essentially this is an aggressive, fairly predatory little fish. It doesn't do much sand sifting, and certainly far less than things like Awaous and Gobioides gobies. Omobrachus zebra isn't widely sold but in England at least Wholesale Tropicals in London seems to have them in stock fairly regularly.

Cheers, Neale

what do you mean by fairly predetory? i dont have any small fish. i realize that they are aggressive but i have quite a long aqurium where it could find a home far from the dragon goby. (whos doesnt really wander) this is out of curisoity because i know i will never get my hands on one. i also was maybe misinformed about their agressive sandsifting abilities.
thanks!
