£70 vouchers for our favourite lfs as my leaving present from work.

yay! dunno what i'll get with them

that's the price of 5 years hard work!!

tbh i'm pretty shocked, a senior bloke who'd been here 20+years left last month and he only got £50. i must be popular!!

Mmmm you must be! Buy some bits for your marine tank!!!

Doesn't surprise me, you come across on this forum as a nice-to-know person so I have no doubt that your workmates will miss you and have shown you this in the best way they could! :flowers: Must have missed a thread, why are you leaving and have you another job lined up?

oh, yes, and enjoy spending your pressie! :drinks:

yeah we're after some new corals and one of the slightly rare clownfish species, this will certainly make a difference towards it.

:-(

thankyou!! that really made me well up (just spent 2 hrs in the pub and i was feeling somewhat emotional beforehand, sorry!)

leaving because i'm not challenged here and there's no career prospects. love the people i work with but it's just time to move on. Start my new job tomorrow, working in risk management, it's an excellent position, good career progression, big payrise and a big challenge.

I'm looking forward to starting but not looking forward to leaving, which is probably the best position to be in when you think about it.

also been told by them hear that I'm welcome back if it doesn't work out, and if I want to do a couple of years and gain some good skills then come back on a much higher salary it's fairly likely they can do that for me. which is always nice!!

:D

Wow!! :hyper: Must be nice to be in demand, how lovely of your firm to invite you back after a couple of years and on a higher salary!!!!!!!!!!!!
The very best of luck in your new job and I hope you love it as much as your old place! Let us know what you decide to spend your vouchers on! Best go and have a snooze after all the booze! lol :drink: :zz :zz :zz :zz

thankyou, i'll try and get some pics of my new purchases when i've decided what to get.

i've 2 hrs of gloating and clearing my desk and then i'm gone for good.

the crying's already started

I could buy a LOT of plants with £70..............
Good luck in the new job. I know how you feel. Most days at work I can feel my brain cells dying one by one.
