I Have Just Recieved My Java Moss

today i recieved my java moss from ebay and when i inspected it closley i noticed there were about 5 wormy things in there 1 grey and 4 white. what could they be? are they harmful? should i dispose of them? and may they be poisonous?

How long are the worms?

the grey one is about 3-4 inches and the white ones are about 1.5 - 2.5 inches

to be on the safe side id rinse the moss and get rid of the worms.

they sound like a type of larvae but ive never heard of ones that big..
my first thought was nematoads but there only are 2 cm long..
i would take them out just as a precaution.

do they have pincers? or spiky barbs sticking out of them?

its hard to tell the white ones have like centipead type things on them. and the grey one looks like an earth worm but moves like an eel

i would touch the centipede ones they can give u a nasty sting when touched. not sure about the other ones..just net them out and dunk the net them in boiling water.

they can? i really dont wana get stung or anything shall i empty it into a plastic container pic them out with tweezers then check to see if there are any more. could i soak it in saltwater?

That was a typo sorry.. wouldnt touch them*
im not sure because ive encountered these type of things in a marine tank before when i was cleaning it. so boiling water or detergent would work for them after you removed them from the tank.
