Fish Connoisseur
Congratulations on your mollies. They sound lovely, but I am a little concerned about your general situation and ability to look after the fish.
It sounds like you need to sit down and talk to your mum and dad about who takes ultimate responsibility in an emergency situation. If you are to keep fish at all, somebody has got to be prepared to nurse sick fish and take unsuitable fish back to the shop.
If you are unable to take ultimate responsibility yourself (eg too far from the fish shop, no public transport, no pocket money for medications) and your parents are not prepared to do so, then you might need to think about maybe waiting a few years before you keep fish. A situation that means a risk of healthy fish being killed just because nobody can be bothered, is quite unacceptable.
The members on this forum genuinely want to help you, but the forum is about promoting a responsible attitude towards fish, so they are not going to be pleased with the sort of things you have been saying in the last couple of threads. Pet-keepers must have a caring attitude towards their pets- and that includes fish too. Whingeing and a poor-little-me approach is not really helpful in demonstrating your sense of responsibility. So please don't let's have any more about flushing.
