If ya want snail free I would definately suggest some Boita genus Loaches....they are very good at hunting snails!

Java Moss is some hardy stuff. You would be amazed how this stuff grows. I don't know how bleach affects it, but I TOTALLY removed all the java moss from a tank. About 2 weeks later, it was growing on a piece of wood. It is a survivor
