I have a little 70lt tank that i want to make a jungle. Its low lighting (same tank as feeatured in this months PFK magazine) so im just using easy to keep plants that will grow well with just liquid ferts once a week.

This is it currently and i feel like its missing something. I need to somehow add a small piece of wood to make a cave and im thinking maybe another small nana on the right of wood.

I want something that is a small, low growing foreground plant to give any fry a place to hide and a place for the pygmy cories to relax!

I was thinking of maybe Cryptocoryne Willsii? Any suggestions?

The tank currently has a red veiltail in it, 2 red cherry shrimp (it was 3 but after one shed its skin it turned into betta food) and 4 pygmy corys.

Java fern springs to mind but that's more middle to back. Like your anubias (which looks pretty healthy) it doesn't get planted but is best tied to rocks or wood. One of the cheapest plants on the market too. With a low light tank its going to be difficult to get a carpeting plant. If your java moss grows it will eventually cover most of your tank though. You may need to prune it if it takes off.

I second the java moss taking over if it grows! I recently trimmed mine back again and managed to take 40 grams(a very large handful) off and still leave quite a bit on the wood. It really does grow, and grow, and grow once it gets going.
Before the trim:

After the trim(still cloudy):

The amount I took off:

I can pretty much guarantee I'll be trimming this again in less than a month if I can be bothered... It grows so well it binds all the wood together, there's actually about 4 pieces of wood under that moss and I can lift the entire thing out by the moss when it's in need of a trim.
So the java moss is pretty much going to carpet with where it is.

I envy you, mine wont grow at all, just got a new tank with a better light system, I'm gonna try again.

Mine is ridiculous, I'm not even kidding xD If everything else grew as fast as the moss I'd be able to supply the country with cuttings every week!

Either of the chain swords should do well here.  Helanthium tenellum or the slightly larger-leaf H. bolivianum (both were previously thought to be in Echinodorus).  I have had success with these in all tanks, low/moderate lighting, with just once a week basic comprehensive supplement.  Once they settle in, they will send out runners and cover the substrate in a few weeks.  Easy to prune back as desired.

That's the way it used to be for me, I used to look after a 6ft tank that was regularly half full of java moss which I used to pull out and bin. Ive ordered some more in the hope that this time it will grow for me.

Should have said lol, I could have sent you some :)

If this lot doesn't grow, I'll take you up on that. I bought a large clump, have glued it onto every conceivable surface in 2 of my tanks, now I just need to sit back and watch it grow.
