Since moving my 3 fantail goldies from their overcrowded 21L tank to the 160L one, they haven't been as active as they used to be. A lot of the times they're just hovering (not bottom sitting). They just float in the same places. One of them (number 1) isn't as bad, he only does it now and again but the others do it for much longer and more often.
So far I've done the following:
I thought the water was too hot and decreased it from 21 to 19. I did it slowly over a whole day using bottles of pop with frozen water inside. One (number 1) got a bit more active and he's doesn't seem to 'hover' very often.
I thought another one (number 2) was constipated, he has a bit of history of being constipated, so I gave them some peas and he was much better, seemed normal.
The third one I was most worried about as he stayed in the same corner for long periods of time downwards at a 45degree angle but things improved when I did a WC a couple of days ago.
I was away yesterday and everything seemed normal when I left and this morning but goldies 2 and 3 have become considerably less active as the day passed by today.
I don't know what else to do... any ideas?
Btw, parameters have been kept within healthy range (log at the bottom of the first post of this thread http
/www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/373107-trying-to-put-things-right/ ), WCs done when needed, they eat fine and they always come to say hi when they see me.
