I did something today i swore i would never do, i bought from a LFS i swore i'd never get fish from due to the quality of previous fish i've bought from there. i just happened to be stopping by to get some food and i saw some dwarf neon rainbows, which i've been after for ages, and to top it off, they were on offer! they looked healthy, and the store worker informed me they had been there a few weeks, so i thought it must be fate, and bought them
I did feel slightly disheartened however when, after i paid i asked the employee for a polybox to put them in as i had a few other places to go before i went home, and it was cold out, only to find out he didnt have the slightest clue what a poly box was, so i had to explain it to him

will take some pics tomorrow once they're settled and the tank lights come back on
hopefully they'll do well, fingers crossed considering the LFS they came from i have seen keeping tiger barbs in the same tank as a male betta, and 2 male bettas which were tearing lumps out of each other in another tank

Nice find. In my area are they not only hard to find but the one store that has them wants $12 each. Eh.

yep, i was proud of the deal. normally they are £5 each (approx $12) or 3 for £12 (approx $30), but they were on offer last month (november) but the sign was still on the tank, so i got em cheap
polybox is a pretty common term in the uk tho

Ah... but a lot of brits would have no idea what styrofoam is, and i expect his LFS was not in states or it would have been a LWAFS (long way away fish shop). hehe.
