I Came Home And Found Something In My Tank

At 1st I hated the water changes but now its not too bad. I drain the old water off through a hose pipe onto the garden but still use a bucket to refill. Its about an hours job but worth it. I know when I am over due with the water changes too, One of the turks goes dark and clamps up. An hour or so after the water change it is fine. Everyone that comes ti visit loves my tank so it was all worth it just for that but I love them too. They all seem to have different personalities which mays it easy to tell if there is something wrong or not. I am so glad I took that big step.

I have respect you use buckets, I tried that for all of a week and then turned to an automatic pump set-up the odd 80% changes with buckets would be impossible. I do drain the water onto my grass though its the easiest way and I guess it counts as a bit of recycling . Telling when something is wrong is the easy part, sometimes find out what is wrong is a real pain though :/

The pics you put up today look great and a nice update to your journey!

If only Discus were compatable Barilius; Opsarius; Puntius... They might have loved it in Nelly's old 5x2x2 tank (when i can afford to actually set it up in the garage, I suspect before we ever move)!

Ive got to admit, Some of them are a bit ropey but I will be moving them into my other tank at some point. I plan on having 9 nice ones to be permenant, Ive got 2 nice once in my QT tank, Once they have proven to be ok, I will be putting them in the main tank and taking 2 out of it.
