Hypothetical Anabantid Question

Many tanks these days come with a built-in hood-mounted filter, such that the filtered water falls in the tank water.

Would this prevent a betta or gourami from building a bubblenest?

they mainly drop the water towards the middle of the tank. bubble nests are usually built in the corners as its more secure i can't see a problem
