So while admiring my mums fish tank down stairs..noticed she has a few hydra. We got our plants from the same place so I went to check my tank and low and behold..have found about 4 in my tank so far all on my plants..I don’t plan to keep baby fish, snails or shimp, but I want to move fish in there from my other tank (neon tetras, fancy and endler guppies, Pygmy Cory catfish, and a silver half beak.) Are they gonna be a threat to these fish? Or how do you even control the population of hydra if it gets out of hand? I don’t know if I should put fish in there or not :/
P.s my mum has one big gold fish in her tank so pretty sure he’s fine haha.

I eradicated hydra using aquarium salt. A tablespoon per 10 litres maintained for two weeks (if you change half the water you will need to replace half the salt).
