Huney Guards His Nest

I have now taken my female golden huney gourami out as they had stopped breeding, he is now guarding the nest and i was wondering if anyone had any experience in breeding these. If so when should i take my male out and what is the best food for the fry if they sucsessfuly hatch.

Any information will be a great help.
