Humm

I'm by no means looking for an argument. Just the PFK link itself suggests the males are skinny.

I would like to be able to suggest that you buy 50% male and 50% female-like individuals, but this could lead to the purchase of some of the fish that are beginning to "thin".
It does also say -

Check that there are no very skinny fishes in the group, as this is often a sign that there will be difficulties in getting them to feed. Emaciation can be caused by internal parasites, which again, are likely to affect more than one individual in the batch.

I often used to deliberately buy skinny Clown loaches out of compassion, assuming I would be able to get them back to health, but no such luck.

Basically don't buy skinny looking fish and you won't have a problem.

Also that breeding story has never been proved, the author couldn't prove it, how much more couldn't he prove with the rest of the article?

Agreed not every member knows about skinny desease just pointing it out when buying clown loaches.
Know quite a few members who treat for internal parasites in a quarantine tank before they add them to the main tank.

k well im not getting any more clown loaches so no need to talke bout them not but as for my outher question will i be okay getting some yoyo loaches?
