How you can tell when a fish is happy

I've got a pair of rainbows too. They haven't spawned yet, but only had them for about a week and a half. Hope they do!!
On another note though; just to warn you. My sajica pair did spawn recently, and the eggs hatched, but as it was their first time, they didn't guard the fry very well, and my clown loaches had them for breakfast one morning. They are currently building a new nesting place under a bit of bogwood (very efficient diggers since even the Clown Loaches haven't been under there before!!!) so hopefully they'll do better this time.
Hope your rainbows have better luck with their first time!! Let me know how it goes, I'd be very interested!!
Great pics as well BTW!!!!

Cool. Mine did the same until the eggs hatched, then they seemed to lose interst a bit. Like I said, I hope yours do better though!!!
How many rainbows do you have? and what ration of male to female?
