i used to do this with my tropheous duboisi females , i had a breeding set up of 10 females to 1 male , so i basically had to strip a different female almost every week of her eggs

never had no problems catching the female and putting her into a small holding tank and using a spoon to hold the bottom lip down while the fry were spat out

if you are gentle and confident enough i would say this is the easiest way to get your fry into a seperate growing tank
