To make sure that I dont spread whatever it may be in my tank, how do I sanitize nets? I have 3 tanks and 3 nets, but making sure there is no disease left in the net once the fish are cured. I also have A python that I use for doing water changes. Im afraid to use it on my other two tanks now that I may have something in my 55gal. What can I do to the python to keep from spreading disease?

1 part bleach to 20 parts water is a standard sterilization solution. Rinse the nets with tap water & let them dry. You could do the same with the python, mix some bleach solution in a bucket, and drain the bucket. Rinse the python with fresh water. You could rinse it with water with double the dechlor if the bleach makes you nervous, dechlorinator neutralizes chlorine bleach.

What type of thing should we put to stop spreading the disease. Cant we also increase the temperature in the tank to kill the bacteria or the parasites.

The bleach solution is the best method, since it's quick and can be used for majority of the equipment, including the Python.

The only way to kill parasites/bacteria with increasing temps would be to increase it to a boiling point, but this will of course, kill your fish and make cause your tank glass to shatter. Increasing temps to a toleratable level for fish will normally just speed the life cycle of the bacteria/parasite.

A few ways to prevent contamination between tanks is...
1. Use seperate nets for each tank
2. Wash your hands and let them dry before you work on another tank
3. Sterilize equipment as you move from one tank to another
4. Run a UV Sterilizer in each tank
