How to "plant" moss onto hardscape?

HI ALL

I just purchased some moss, but don't have experience "planting" it yet. What is the usual method for attaching it to wood/rocks/etc? I've seen thread used, but it looks awful. I'll keep searching for more info but any tips folks here can give would be appreciated!

I’ve used black cotton thread onto wood that worked well. I’ve also used a small dot of super glue gel on a pebble with a large clump of moss pressed ontop.

Gorilla Glue Gel works great. Small amount, hold for a few seconds and you should be good. Rocks and wood surfaces.
