how to grow lichens

i found some lichens in my yard and i want to grow them
but i am not sure how.
i kept moss in a little greenhouse but i am not sure if lichens can also be kept that way

I've actually tried. I transplanted it onto a rock while spraying it a few times a day. I was successful until lost interest.
