How To Feed Cory Catfish With Betta?

I am planning to add a Cory catfish to my betta in a gallon tank. I am wondering how do I feed my catfish? I feed my betta betta pellets. I also have tropical fish flake and betta flakes that I am pretty sure my betta won't bother eating it, so should I feed that to my catfish?

Bad idea. You need to have a school of Corys in order to keep them happy (preferably 6+) and you can't have that many in a 1 gallon tank.

Corys tend to be fed sinking food whereas bettas tend to be fed floating food. Feed corys at night when tank lights are off. Shouldn't be a problem.

Other than ask how to feed them, have you done any research at all into corys? As stated they are shoaling fish and live in huge numbers together in the wild, you cannot keep one alone and certainly not in a 1 gallon.

What are your reasons for wanting one? Is it to keep the bottom clean and eat excess food? You shouldn't get fish for this reason. Excess food needs removing by you and means you're feeding too much to start with. While a cory would eat flake that landed on the bottom it's better to feed sinking catfish pellets.

But if you want one just because you like them, get a bigger tank and get a group. Your betta would appreciate a larger home as well.
