How To Convince Parents?

Do you guys have any idea how to convince my parents to let me buy my own saltwater tank even though it's pretty expensive???

#1 is can you pay for it or at least half of it. I convinced my parents with responsibility and knowing almost everything on the subject. What do you know about fishkeeping. Research farther and dazzle them with your extensive knowledge. Also find out beforehand how much space it will take up and the overall cost. My fishtank costed twice as much as I predicted and it always costs money to upkeep it with filter cartridges.

Good ideas I was going to try to pay for at least half and probably more even though I know it will be about $600 or more... they now I love animals and I know everything about almost every animal but I need more research w/ acctual owners because I still need to learn more so thats why I'm here.
