Hi!
So one of my Bettas, Aztec, is starting to get a little slow(?) and I’m wondering how to tell how old he is. I’ve had him for a while, more than a year at least, and he was pretty big back in the store.
He is a tail biter so I can’t tell anything from his fins. (Yes, I’ve witnessed him actually doing it, it’s not the decorations). He is also twice the size of my other Betta, who I think is rather young.
Aztec hides under his bridge a lot, but that might be because the water flow is a little more powerful because the water level is low (I’ll fix that).
So basically: what are some things to look for in an aging Betta?
Thanks!
