How Often And Why Do

how often and why do post get removed or cut

reviewing the rules, will clear up why. how often, depends on, people breaking them.

stay within the rules and you will have no posts removed. simples!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Specifically I've found they normally get removed because people disagree with eachother and instead of 'advising' they stray into the realm of dictating. Then it tends to spiral and people start getting personal.

If there was a bit more 'agreeing to disagree' then less posts would be removed lol. It does annoy me when people refuse to accept scientific fact because 'I've kept fish since before you were born' or 'my aunties was fine' or 'my fish look fine'. But all you can do is give someone the correct information to the best of your knowledge and if they want to use it then that's great. If they don't then flaming them and coming across aggressive will only drive people away.

even so, people only get posts removed if they break the rules. nobody has posts removed for any other reason.

I wasn't disagreeing with you. I was just saying that THAT is the number 1 rule that gets broken/results in posts being deleted.

now now

i was just wondering it seems
that there pretty OK around here with
things like i try not to advertise forums
and sites

to be fair, over the years. all rules seem to be acted upon, equally. obviously, a sig pic that's too big, will have less sever consequence. that abusing someone, though!
you don't see many post removed, we i don't. unless its severely abusive or out right spam. (works first time every time). linking other sites, works too.
