hi all... rite i have a 190ltr corner tank.... ive been thinking about having black sand between 500 microns and 1000 microns (1000microns= 1mm)
the reason i want it bigger is to minimise the kickup of sand as the fish swim by.. for instance if i go for silver sand which is 150 micron to 250 microns it will kickup easily... so question is how much sand will i need ?? i have a planted aquarium so it needs a bit of depth for the roots... im thinking 25kg will do it but ive never used sand b4 so need some help with the amount... (it isnt cheep and dont want to be wasting it lol)
heres the sand i want to get....
