How Many Otos?

If you are worried they are not getting enough food, find some rocks(not too jagged) and wash them/boil them (no soap) and cover them with water in a shallow container on a sunny windowsill. In no time they will grow nice soft green algae. Then you drop one in the tank, let the otos clean it up, remove and replace with the next one.
a well fed oto should have a little pot belly. Not look sunken or skinny. and you should see them poo-a LOT! If heavily planted tank, likely there is enough algae on the leaves to sustain them, but the supplemental "algae rocks" wont go unappreciated.
