How Many More Fish ?

Ok my tank cycled and ive added a few different fish.

10 neons(only found out they better in 6 mnth tank after i got them lol )
3 glass catfish
2 mollies
3 platys
1 sucker

How many more fish roungly can i get.

its a rio 125 tank

As you say you have just cycled, you should stay within the 1 inch of fish (final adult size) per gallon rule for a few months. That means you are fully stocked now. You should be able to get a few more fish in a few months after your tank matures.

What exactly is your sucker fish? If it is a common plec, it will outgrow the tank.

Are you sure about that? Thought angles needed quite a large tank (18" high minimum) due to their adult size? Also, you can keep more than "10 little fish" in a 125L

I have a rio 125 and it's not tall enough for angels let alone 4-6. Please dont give stocking advise without researching yourself first.

Agree, we need to know what you mean by sucker. I'm presuming its a plec of some sort. Can you get a picture of it so we can identify if for you.

What filtration are you using? ?Are you using the inbuilt juwel filtration system?

Its hard for us to give stocking advice without knowing the total fish you currently have in the tank.

We need to know what fish the 'sucker' fish is? That name is quite a common name used by fish stores and can refer to many different fish.

I'd guess its a plec of some sort but seeing as there are about 150+ types of plec we need to know which one, if its a common plec then you will have to rehome it as it will grow upto 2ft in length.

Can you please get a photo of the 'sucker' fish

Ok,il see can i get a photo 2moz,the fish store told me they wouldnt grow bigger than 5 inches because i asked for a small 1.

I have 2 fully grown tall angels in a 36"x 15" x 12" tank and they've plenty of space and it's tall enough. No angels get to 15" tall, just 6" max and usually less.

Actually given the correct living conditions most angels will reach 8" that is why tanks that are 18" tall minimum are suggested.

Its more than likely that your angels reached around 6" then stunted without the sufficient room to grow properly. Any knowledgable angel fish keeper will tell you that they shouldnt be kept in tanks 15" deep.

You've just come to an end of a fish in cycle,and since you've just added more fish i wouldn't add anything else for a few weeks,
Best keep a check on your water stats still,

Depending what sort of sucker you've got you may be close to your limit anyway.
