How Many Fish Can I Have In 180 Gallons?

hate to make another "what shall i put in my tank" thread but i really dont have a clue.


ive jus setup my 180G and its gonna be my big fish tank.

already got an oscar and 2 bala sharks (ill add 2 more when my filters sorted) and a plec in there and i was thinkin a severum or 2.

but what else?


think ill move my clowns in there, ill see.


so with

1 x oscar
4 x bala sharks
1 x common plec
5 x Clown loaches (mite add more of them)

am i right in saying i can add more?

i dont kno whats overstocking when it comes to bigger fish.

thats a lot of big fish going in that tank, i wouldnt add more than that personally, but maybe someone with more experience with larger tanks can offer more

You could have alot of fish in that tank. Not much more bigger ones though. Not sure what else you could put in there though. Some parrot fish (not the hybrid ones) or a group of geophagus will be nice.

how much is very expensive and how would i even start to get one? any ideas?

You look around all the best fish shops and keep an eye on the online stocklists if they have them. Dont expect much change from £50 for a small one.
