How Many Corys Would Be Acceptable?

I already have 6 albino and 6 leopard corys in my tank (360ltr, 95 US gallons?) along with:
1 Clown Plec,
2 bn plecs,
1 pair of Apistos,
1 pair Pearl Gourami
2 pairs of GBR`s,
6 Celebes Rainbowfish,
7 Rummy`s,
8 neons,
6 Long finned leopard Danios (I think)
6 Harlequins,
2 blue-eyed rainbowfish,
2 ember tetras

Would it be too much to add 5 Wild Corydoras napoensis?

I would like to add some green neons at some point and I really don`t want to risk overstocking. I`m think I`m probably close to the limit now although the fish I have are small and the filtration is good (FX5).

I think it shouldnt be a problem. I honestly dont know why you have 2 Ember Tetras in that monster tank though LOL!

Although you have a lot of fish, they are rather small, which in my opinion is the best way to do it.

If you think you've got enough space, go for it, as long as everyones happy and healthy, there's no risk in over stocking a little bit.

Well I did have the 180ltr before but .....the first E.T (haha) was a stowaway from a shop in Derbyshire. opened a bag of fish I`d bought there and there was the little orange chap.....then I saw another one a few weeks later at MA, I felt sorry for him coz he was all on his own so I bought him

Thanks VV, I`m just a bit wary of the whole overstocking thing. The last thing I want to do is put any of the other fish at risk for the sake of a few extra being added, if the general concensus is that it would be ok then so be it

i dont see it being a problem . corys are as you know sociable peaceful fish , and not too high on the bio-load. at the hight of my cory obsession i had around 19 in my 450L . they love being in a big group and watching them all shoal together is really cool

I had no intention of adding to the 12 corys I already have but I saw the napoensis and thought ....'Hmm I wonder if.....'

The corys I have now are lovely, I love to see them zipping around the tank and to see some different ones would be nice

i really miss my corys . i had a mix of peppered , schwarzi and melini . amazing little fish and just so loveable. i loved the way they used to kind of swim up to the top quickly then dart back down again . imo 1 of the most underated aquarium fieverybodyshould own them at least once . sh and completely adorable.

I used to keep Melini, peppered and pygmy.
Highly under-rated fish.

Ha I love watching mine do that. Sometimes they go half way up and wait for some of the bigger fish to finish swimming past....like they're waiting to cross the road or something. Really funny.


Else, in that size tank I wouldn't have thought a shoal of green neons would make much difference to anything, you should be fine.

Spoke to the girl at my lfs today and she reckons there`s no problem with the fish I`m looking at adding, (she knows the tank we have as we got it from there and she knows which fish I have) because the fish I have are generally of the 'smaller size' the addition of the neons and corys apparently will be fine.

My only apprehension might be that wild caught cory's may not be as flexible with water parameters. But if fishes have been in dealers tanks for a spell, and are thriving and their water is close to yours with respect to gh,kh, then I say go for it.

The breeder who imported them keeps all imported stock in quarantine and in his own parameters for approx 8 weeks so they`ll be more acclimatised than if they`d just been imported.

Not sure I`d ever want to take the risk with not only the wild fish that were straight off a banana boat but with my own fish as well.
