mine once popped out 30 :D but really depends on the guppy and if anyone eats them

A guppy can gave 2 to 50 fry so it's really hard to say!

It generally depends on her age, the size of her and if she has had fry before though :)

The average is about 20 so obviously you're not going to want to keep them all, you'll also find your guppys will breed like crazy too so maybe just leaving them to take their chances in your main tank would be a good idea.

Bear in mind a female guppy can store enough sperm for two or three batches from one mating too!

6 seems to be my magic number! I never get any more than that surviving,  I remember one drop I had loads, but they kept escaping out the trap and being eaten! I think that was the time I actually broke a record by having 12 grow into adults I sold them within days. Then regretted it as i've never had that many since!
I've had guppies for the last year, when I first got them, I was told I would be overstocked in no time. I guess i'm not that lucky lol.
I had 10 fry on Friday I now have 4 left. But I do have 3 pregnant females so here's to more fry!

I have had as many as 143 fry from one single female. a  average  size female should drop 30 +
the one with a colour is a average size her last brood was 60 fry, the smaller one had 24 fry

I don't have pregnant guppies anymore... but my first time moms had anywhere from 4-70 babies... but averaged 15-20. Subsequent batches were usually 20-50 babies.

although the number of guppy fry can very, I consider it to be poor  if I got  a brood below 20 from a average size female
but then I don't let them get eaten  when I want to save the fry I put the female in a tank by it self and always  keep the fish well feed on live foods .

why not breed your guppies again you know it's good fun lol.
