How Many Angelfish In A 29 Gallon?

Sorry for high jacking the thread but I had a similar sort of question so thought it was worth posting in here. I have a 44G/168L tank (14" tall which is not ideal) going to be well planted but with room to swim at the front.

I have never kept Angel fish before but know a little about them. My plan is once the tank is mature and cycled I would get half a dozen angel fish and hopefully get a pair and sell the rest back to the LFS. The thing I havent been able to find out though is when they will pair up and is there anything in particular I should look for in the 6 I get?

Edit: I do have a 2ftX1ft tank that is 18" tall that I could transfer the Angels too if they get really big but dont have the space for it at the moment.

I wouldn't do it personally, 14' from what I understand, isn't sufficient.

Yeah thats what I was thinking.

I have seen Angels kept in 14' tanks that seemed very healthy but still.... Also they do get pretty damn big (deapth wise) and a 14' tank when empty is not a 14' tank when you have 2-3 inchs of substrate and then plants/hardscape in there.

Guess I will leave it until I can make space for the other tank. Always loved angel fish so I will have to get some at some point :)
