How Many Angel Fish?

Hi everyone, I've not been on here for a while.
Could someone tell me how many Angel fish I could keep in my 42g tank. I've had Angles in the past but only in pairs. I've always ended up swaping them for something else as they always take over the tank when protecting their eggs.! Is it possible to hace an angel only tank and how many?

If you are raising juveniles to tr to get a breeding pair, I would recommend around 8 angels for a tank that size. That way you can select out the one or two pairs you will likely get and move the other angels to their own homes.
