How Long Will A Coldwater Tank Last Without Food?

Basically, as I'm the only one with the knowledge, I look after a coldwater fish tank which is in my form base at high school. Obviously, the six week holidays are coming up and I've just cleaned them out today and done a 20% water change. The tank has no heater, it just has a basic undergravel filter system with an aerator pump running a few bubbles into the water. Theres no live plants in there. It's about 15-16 gallons I would estimate. The fish are two 3 inch long-tailed coldwater goldfish and two small white-cloud mountain minnows which have been in for at least a year and have done fine. I feed them 5 days a week at school with flake. The science lab technicians will be coming in once or twice during the holidays with periods of 2 weeks between the visits.

I'm going to put in a bunch of elodea pond weed in there, I left a lot of algae on the glass for them to munch on too.
Ideally I should have bought a holiday pyramid feeder block but I've not had time.
Do you think the fish will be okay with 2 week periods of no food?

In terms of the food they will be fine for 2 week periods, and better off because you DIDN'T buy the feeder block, the blocks are more trouble than they're worth. Its off topic but that tank is VERY small for those fish

Well, I finished today for the summer. So by the time I posted this it was late at night and there was no way I could of gone and bought anything. Lab technicians have confirmed they will be in a few times over the summer.
