How Long To Mature A Filter?

[snakequeen]

Hi there
I was wondering how long it would take to mature a filter if im running it in an already mature tank?
I have added another filter to one of my mature tanks to cycle it quicker.
Just wondering how long it would take
Thanks
Eve

It should be good to go in 2 or 3 weeks.

I usually leave filters in that im maturing for another tank for 2 weeks..

Once put in new tank, i just keep a daily check on the stats and do regular waterchanges.

I matured the filter for 4 weeks.
Added de-chlorinated water and no fish loss.
