How Long Should I Leave Zucchini In The Tank For?

i have 9 1.25" abn's and have a 1.5" diameter zucchini slice for them that is 1/2" thick stuck to the end of a stainless steel spoon.

the zucchini has been in the tank for 36 hours and only several small chunks have been eaten from the top side. the zucchini slice wasn't blanched and is still relatively hard.

should i take it out now? how long should it have been in the tank?

Most people put the food in at night and remove the remains the following morning. Try cooking it and see if they prefer that. You can also try pumpkin and most other fruits/ veges. Avoid onions and potatoes. You can also try just having the food on the bottom of the tank instead of being held by the spoon.
