How Long Have You Been Keeping Fish?

had golf fish for as long as i can remember ( still keep them ) but Tropical as only been about a year so far but cant belive how much you learn from places like this forum its helped me out so much

Only since xmas, but I absolutley love it.

I did have a betta when I lived with my parents, it lived for 3yrs but I moved out of their house a couple of years ago.

But without this forum, there is no way I would know what I have learnt in 2 months of keeping them. Its helped me so much.

I got my goldfish when i was 12, and im 18 now id say 6 years total 4 years of proper fish keeping he live in a 5 gal hex for 2 years didnt know any better

I have had fish all my life, but i've only recently started breeding them, around May of this year is when I bred my fish for the first time.

Off and on for 18 years. I was never serious about it until the past year. I started out with minnows from our local creek in a 10 gallon tank that my parents didnt even know about.

I had goldfish since I was little. Around 11 I got a tropical fish tank with guppies and platys. Now I have a 20L tropical and a 40L goldfish tank with my awesome 5 year old comet, Jaws. So I guess I've had a "real" aquarium for 9 years now.

14 years with a on off period when in the army buying a tank having it 6 months then selling due to postings

I've been constantly keeping fish for over 4 and a half years now if you don't include various attempts at keeping goldfish when i was younger.
