How Long Can You Leave Fish?

[evilchild]

i used one of the feeder block once, never again. only been away for about 4-5 days, when i came back the tank was in a right state. the water was so cloudy you couldn't see the fish, the fish was ill due to bad water. after about 2 hours i got the tank back some where about right. next time i go away i will get some one to feed them

Ive seen betta and goldfish go without food for months before. Most LFS if they even feed at all only feed once or twice a week for freshwater.
