I have a turtle and two glo-fish (in separate tanks, of course). As a side note, the reason I only have two glo-fish in my 20g is because I'm really afraid of losing them when I add more. They're the first fish I've had that have lasted more than a few months (I've had them for almost a year now! :]). This is because I only learned about cycling before I got them, so I cycled my tank fishless for a few months and then bought them.

Anyway, back to the point of this topic. I bought some frozen bloodworms during the end of Summer 2011, and fed them to my glo-fish and turtle about once a week. I shared one cube for all three of them each time -- the turtle obviously getting 3/4 of the cube, because it's bigger. But over the winter my turtle stopped eating because it went into hibernation slightly, so I couldn't feed him or my fish bloodworms, as there's too much in one cube for two tiny fish. Now that it's Spring, my turtle wants to eat everything again and I want to feed him and the fish their favourite bloodworms as well. But will the bloodworms still be okay to feed them? They've been sitting in the freezer for months. I know I wouldn't eat food that's been in the freezer for months.

If you look on the packet they should have a 'best before' date on them somewhere.

you wouldn't eat something that's been in the freezer for a while? i freeze bread etc and have it weeks after i put it in the freezer, it just freezes the best before date that's all. they will be fine.
