well i am kind of worried about this new hobby of mine and hoping that my fish will be healthy, i've looked through some of your tanks which looks amazing, here are some pictures of mine, could you tell me if its a good set up? i'd appreciate it greatly. :good:

(sorry if i seem to be spamming posts a bit, im so worried if anything will go wrong)

also the tank water smells lush

yep the plants are real i did have 6 but when i put them in the tank two of them fell apart and rose to the top, and so is the bogwood (£10 ) with the gravel i may change after a water change sometime, i noticed in some of the fish don't like bright substrate but none that i'll be getting at the moment.

Thank you for the compliment and suggestions

brill tank i would change the gravel to sand ,i think it looks better ,but you still got a very nice tank there

aye its sounds like a fun hobby, i hope it works out it'll be something to do when i'm doing nothing. and yeah these forums have helped me alot which i appreciate

Hey, do you know what? I hate coloured type substrate but I actually love your set up! :) You have clearly done some work there.

However, I would still change it to sand though but if you like your look it's great by me.

Either choice you obviously have a flare for scaping

again i'm surprised by a compliment, i usually don't get them, if i did do a change to sand it would be taking every out which i really can't do after these compliments :D

Then keep it how it is, there is absalutely nothing wrong with your look in fact it is rather good in my opinion. That is all you have had so far, peoples opinions and compliments (hey, don't be surprised) end choice is yours to make.

Personally I would like to see an enlarged picture of your tank.....*edit* wait, just done that!

Funny you should jump in and say it dorsey as I was thinking exactly the same thing. That's the best combo of using an artificial blue/white gravel I've ever seen. For some reason it just seems to look really nice down there under all the beautiful wood and plants.

~~waterdrop~~
ps. the compliment means something Robot, since we've all thought dorsey's tanks stunning for quite a while
