How Fast Can A Fish Be Eaten

From going to bed last night to getting in from work just now I have a missing balance shark. I have or should have 2 now they are about 8 inches in length so not hard to miss but he is no where to be seen at all. Just wondering if maybe he died during the night and the rest ate him. Is this possible.

I could not see how a 8inch fish could be eaten within a night from your stocking, unless you have another fish not listed?
Have you checked around behind etc of the tank on floor,under cabinets etc. is there anyone living with you who maybe saw it dead and removed it?
