How Does This Stocking Sound?

I would get rid of two of the swordtails and replace them with females, males are very agressive towards eachother withough enough girls around! And you could do with more cories, but that might be a tad overstocked. Just keep up with WC and you should be fine.

I dont want fry tbh lol, that's why I bought all males in the first place. Like I said, they have all been fine together, and I dont want to rehome any more fish than I have to.

Thanks for replying!

There wouldnt be a problem with fry in a tank with that stocking, just leave them in there and they will be eaten.
But if the males are working out, then lucky you :good:

replacing the males with females will result in fry
Not doing it will end up with dead fish.

If she doesn't want fry just get rid of the swords all together or replace them completely with girls. But then again, girls could be pregnant already. :/

what??? when i raise sword tails and platys, i always separate the males and females with a divider, as long as you have a big enough tank. the males will be fine together. they even try to mate with each other sometimes

Afishdude-Did you notice there are already platys in the tank with the male swordtails? They have probably already mated anyway, so if she added female swordtails it wouldnt be any different than the males swordtails mating with the female platys.
Theres nothing wrong with keeping the two together if they are staying in her tank or if she make sure she labels them as a hybrid when she sells them.
And you cant say if males will be fine or not together, some work out, others accept no other males and constantly fight.
