so this is my set up so far

2-belivian rams
2-cockatoo fish *( if i can find them)
2-male guppies
4-female guppies
2-3-kuchli loaches ( if ican find them)
what else did i say

i was wondering about the ottos do they really do anything they dont in my brothers tank
I would skip on the otos. They are pretty fragile and I hear they can be sometimes hard to feed. They clean algae I guess, but all of mine have died shortly after I bought them. :-(

The gourami you like is called a honey gourami I believe and is the same thing as the photo above, my photo was just a little darker. They're very pretty fish and very peaceful as well.

The kissing gouramis were pink right?

I think I would leave it at what you wrote before with the 2 bolivian rams, 2 cockatoos, 3-4 khulis, 2 male guppies, and 4 female guppies. Maybe a pair of honey gouramis, or you could go for some neon or cardinal tetras.

Anyways I am going to go to bed now. I'll be on in the morning to check back here. Goodluck with your tank! You can search through the fish index on the home page of this forum and try to find some more fish you like. Goodnight!

Raech, you're wayyy too patient.

Great info though.. I'm not too sure about keeping rams and cockatoos together, you'd have to ask a cichlid freak about that. ;)
 I couldn't sleep. :p

I am not 100% sure of keeping cockatoos with rams either, but chances are he won't find the cockatoos and if he does, they will probably be way too expensive.

I would have maybe added the bolivian rams along with the cockatoos all at once. If you add the bolivian rams later, the cockatoos may already have made their terriotories and be aggressive towards the bolivian rams. When you buy the rams, I suggest to maybe move things around a little bit in the tank so they will all have to establish new territories again.

How much were they anyway?

I suggest a bulldog plec or rubberlipped plec for your algae eater. They stay small.

i dont really rember i no thats sad i have a bad memory but i think it was like 45 for to of them but i no some people who work there and my dad got me a deal
