I would go with either a pair of german rams or a pair of the cockatoos (they can get pretty expensive and are kind of rare at most LFS so I think the german rams would be cheaper and easier to find) As they can get very territorial during breeding.

Aren't dojo loaches coldwater fish and enjoy lower temps? While german blue rams enjoy higher temps?

I would get the pair of german blue rams and a large school of like 10-15 neons or cardinals. Then plant it up really nicely and maybe add like some danios or some other smaller fish. I have a 30 gallon and it isn't THAT big once you plant it and add the pair of rams.

i dont nop if this would matter but i messed up on the type of ram the type i want are called Bolivian Rams

I believe Bolivia Rams are hardier than German blue Rams and not as fragile with water conditions. You'll still have to cycle and keep the water clean all the time, but you won't have to worry about the fish dying on you for no reason like a few of mine have.

But you can look into German Blue Rams as well, they're more colorful than the Bolivian Rams if that is what you want in your tank, color.

You may want to research the dojo loach and find out if it is a coldwater fish or not, maybe I am thinking of another loach. :dunno: If they are, I wouldn't get them. But who knows. I;ll try to look it up for you and get some more info brb.

 Sorry I had to go to the store as I was craving chocolate and jolly ranchers. :p

Check out this site on dojo loaches:
http://www.aquatic-hobbyist.com/profiles/f.../dojoloach.html

It says the prefer colder temps at around 76 being the highest. Anything warmer will shorten their lifespan. I suggest you skip out on these as they get fairly large as well.

Check out the khuli loach here: http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/gkuhli.html

Do you like them?

ya i like them alot!!!!!!!!!
They're really cute and you could get like 5 or 6 of them as they LOVE to be in groups. They like to hide a lot, but I always find it fun to try to spot their little head sticking out of their hiding spots. :p Do you have sand or gravel as your substrate?
